Welcome to the BHF Movement Challenge!

Hey! You being here means you’re one step closer to joining the BHF Movement Challenge. So let’s get down to business and get into goals.

Tia’s Goals:

For me, I love running and I want to get stronger and faster. Why? Well, I’ve been trying to get closer and closer to a sub 90 half marathon. I’m about 20 minutes away from my goal (I’m sitting around 1:50:36). Now I know that sounds like a lot of time to shave off, but with proper weight training and, you guessed it, running, I think it could work. However, I know that I definitely need to sprinkle in way more stretching and pilates to make sure I won’t injure myself during this challenge. So basically, I want to get back to Strong Tia™ again. Strong Tia™ can lift abnormally heavy things and I can’t do that anymore so this will be the reawakening.

Alex’s Goals:

For me, I’ve struggled with weight for most of my life and whenever I have tried to exercise, I’ve been met with injuries from trying to go too hard after prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and eating terrible cafeteria food. I’m going to use this challenge to move my body more and take care of myself so I can be mobile and healthy long-term. If I’m going to be farming for the next 30+ years, I need to build some strength and resilience to make sure my body can take it. I mean, no one is trying to be hobbling around when they’re older. Generally, my goal is to weight train and walk/jog on the treadmill to get back to a pre-Covid weight and to get stronger to do what I need to do to build this farm into what we’re envisioning.

Let us know your goals below👇🏽👇🏻. What you’re going to do to make sure you get moving?
